The CFMOTO Aspar Team are world champions once again. 18-year-old Max Quiles rode his CFMOTO Moto3 bike to victory through the intense heat of the Mandalika Street Circuit during lap 17 of 22 in the 2026 MotoGP season.
Some titles take years of patience to secure, but in 2026 the combination of Maximo Quiles and the CFMOTO Aspar Team proved simply unbeatable. With the precision of a master helmsman and the fighting spirit of a Roman gladiator, the young Spaniard (#
) clinched the 2026 Moto3 world title at the Indonesian Grand Prix at Pertamina.
It wasn’t just any victory; it was a resounding triumph. With five races still to go, Quiles had already secured the title – a rare feat that instantly earns him a place in the motorsport history books alongside icons such as Marc Márquez, Giacomo Agostini and Mike Hailwood.
Quiles owed his rise to the world title to a combination of sheer speed and mature racing skill. After Quiles had already been crowned Moto3 Rookie of the Year 2025 Following an impressive debut year full of victories and podium finishes, that strong campaign laid the foundations for a thoroughly dominant 2026 season.
Quiles got off to a flying start by winning four of the first six races. With back-to-back victories at Assen and in Hungary, he had already built up a comfortable lead of 104 points over the competition before the summer break.

Even when setbacks struck – such as a broken collarbone at Silverstone, which proved a severe ordeal – the CFMOTO rider demonstrated the resilience of a true champion. On his return to MotorLand Aragon, he immediately claimed victory, before going on to complete a hat-trick with wins at Misano and in Austria. In Indonesia, he kept his cool in a thrilling battle at the front, claimed his 10th win of the season and definitively crowned himself the new emperor of Moto3.

Quiles’s triumph is no isolated achievement. With this world title, he is following directly in the footsteps of David Alonso, who in 2024 won the Moto3 World Championship title won for the CFMOTO Aspar Team. Two world titles in three seasons underline the team’s absolute dominance and prove that CFMOTO has become the platform where young talent develops into world-class riders.

For CFMOTO, this world title at the very pinnacle of motor racing is more than just a historic trophy. It is the ultimate testament to our brand philosophy: innovation, performance and an unrelenting drive to win.
The technical expertise, precision and winning mentality forged in the Moto3 arena are the direct inspiration behind the machines that CFMOTO puts on the road and off-road every day. Whether it’s winning world titles on the track or delivering unrivalled riding experiences across the Benelux, the hunger for performance is deeply ingrained in our DNA.

With a laurel wreath on his head and the Moto3 crown on his shoulders, Quiles is preparing to make the move up to Moto2. The CFMOTO Aspar Team looks back on a season that was dominated from start to finish.
Congratulations, Maximo! On to the next conquest.
