CFMOTO is all about progress: discovering new talents, pushing boundaries and turning potential into performance. This season, that philosophy was perfectly reflected by Dani Holgado and Máximo Quiles, who featured in respective Moto2 and Moto3 were awarded Rookie of the Year. A double milestone that adds to our pride as a brand.
The switch from Moto3 to Moto2 is known as one of the most demanding steps within the Grand Prix world. The heavier equipment, physical riding and intense competition require adaptability as well as character. Dani Holgado, riding for the CFMOTO Aspar Team, showed from the start that he knew how to embrace this challenge.
During the Qatar Airways Portuguese Grand Prix Holgado secured the title Rookie of the Year in Moto2 by finishing seventh, edging out his biggest rival and teammate David Alonso definitively stayed ahead.
Holgado's debut season speaks for itself:
Two dominant wins
Two more podium finishes
A consistent top form that made him an impressive sixth place in the championship
His performances place him in the ranks of modern talents who have mastered the transition to Moto2 remarkably quickly, exactly the kind of riders CFMOTO likes to work with and invest in.

Outside of Holgado, the rookie group was also particularly competitive this year.
David Alonso, the 2024 Moto3 world champion, also made a strong move to Moto2 with:
One victory
Four podium finishes, including three in the last three races
Yet even that impressive final sprint could no longer threaten Holgado's lead in the rookie classification.
In the rest of the field, several newcomers also created excitement:
Collin Veijer Grabbed his first Moto2 podium in Portimão
Iván Ortolá collected 72 points with two sixth-place finishes as best results
Adrián Huertas, coming from World Supersport, scored 27 points with seventh place as best result
Even Daniel Muñoz, not an official rookie due to previous substitutions but riding as Deniz Öncü's replacement, had a standout period with a third place in his home race in Barcelona.
It shows how high the level is; and how valuable Holgado's constant performances really are.

In addition to its success in Moto2, CFMOTO is immensely proud of Máximo Quiles, who in Moto3 was named Rookie of the Year in moto3!
Quiles established himself early on as one of the field's most complete rookies. He combined natural speed with mature racing decisions and managed to fight his way to the front in several races. His podium finishes, including his win in Portugal where he managed to pull away from his rivals in the closing stages, show that he not only has speed, but also the ability to strategically shape races to his liking.
Throughout the season, Quiles managed to settle into the leading group regularly, and his growth was visible race after race. His rhythm, adaptability and confidence made him one of the standout newcomers of the year.
Quiles’ debut season in Moto3 was one full of proven potential and constant growth:
That constant development resulted in his well-deserved title of Moto3 Rookie of the Year, a crown that perfectly matches the strides he has made within the CFMOTO Aspar Team. His crowning achievement proves that CFMOTO focuses not only on performance today, but on developing the champions of tomorrow.

For CFMOTO, these titles are more than statistics. They are confirmation that our vision works:
the right support, the right engines and the right mindset deliver results.
Dani Holgado and Máximo Quiles embody the new generation of riders who, together with CFMOTO, are poised to shape the future of Moto2 and Moto3.
And this is just the beginning.
