Smooth, powerful engine now with more torque

The 800MT-X is equipped with a liquid-cooled 799cc inline twin-cylinder fuel-injected engine. This compact engine delivers the ideal power for adventure rides, with high torque and a focus on performance in the mid- to high-rev range, providing manageable and controllable power both on and off-road. Dual balance shafts minimise vibration and feature excellent electronic fuel injection management, friction reduction and DLC technology with noise-reducing coating.

Enhanced for off-road adventure

The lightweight main and subframe weigh only 15.1 kg and the robust subframe can easily carry passengers and luggage even in the toughest off-road conditions. The slope angle and track of the front of the 800MT-X have been adjusted for a perfect balance between stability and handling, taking into account both long-distance on-road comfort and off-road agility. At the same time, the lowered, saddle-shaped fuel tank, the 21-inch front wheels and 18-inch rear wheels and the ground clearance of 240 mm add to the rider's confidence.

Firm suspension for varied terrain

The 800MT-X is equipped with a 48 mm upside-down front shock with 230 mm suspension travel and 20 positions adjustable preload to adapt to changing roads and trails. The rear shock also has 230 mm suspension travel, 20-position adjustable preload and adjustable compression/ rebound damping for riding on various surfaces.
