CFMOTO kicks off 2025 with a spectacular international launch in Portugal and brand new motorbikes!

CFMOTO began 2025 with full throttle and a clear ambition. The mission to expand further with products that will excite and enthuse the international market continues unabated. The year kicked off with an impressive global launch in Western Europe as the first statement of a busy and promising year.

Hundreds of media, key CFMOTO staff and business contacts gathered for several days at the multi-faceted venue of Portimão in Portugal. The beautiful Algarve International Circuit, the off-road routes around the motorsport complex and the winding roads in the hilly landscape provided the ideal stage to discover and intensively test the latest motorbikes and vehicles.

The event kicked off with a comprehensive presentation by Markus Ferch, Vice President Sales for Europe at CFMOTO. He explained how the company achieved an impressive growth of 21% in 2024 and crossed a profit threshold of US$1.6 billion in the first half of the year. This success is due to a strong global dealer network, a growing customer base and an investment of over US$100 million in product development (nearly 7% of total sales). These investments are spread across four R&D centres in China, the US and Italy. In addition, production capacity has been increased at the six factories in China and Thailand.

Markus also looked back at some major milestones of 2024: the 35th anniversary of CFMOTO, the production of the millionth ORV, winning the rider, team and manufacturer championships in the Moto3 class (part of MotoGP) and a top-five finish in the Quad category of the Dakar Rally.

CFMOTO's 2-wheel Design Director, Carles Solsona, then presented the 675 engine platform: a brand new three-cylinder at the heart of a generation of standout motorbikes in the mid-range segment. The DOHC liquid-cooled 675 combines the low-end torque of a two-cylinder with the smooth power delivery of a four-cylinder, delivering 66kW at 11,000 rpm with maximum torque of 68Nm at 8250 rpm. This internally developed engine is compact and light, over 1 kg lighter than competitors in the same segment thanks to its efficient construction and materials. The engine meets Euro 5+ standards effortlessly, an aspect CFMOTO is proud of and a focal point of product development for 2025.

675SR-R

The highlight of the presentation was undoubtedly the unveiling of the 675SR-R under the bright lights of the Algarve International Circuit. This model is designed to get the adrenaline going both on the street and on the track. Its aerodynamic design, flowing lines and aggressive look impress immediately. The 675cc three-cylinder delivers a top speed of 220 km/h and accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. Thanks to its race-oriented chassis, aluminium swingarm and underlying muffler, the 675SR-R is a thoroughbred sports bike.

The model features the latest technology, including ABS with adjustable traction control, several riding modes and a 5-inch TFT screen. The KYB suspension is fully adjustable, and the 300mm and 240mm brake discs provide impressive stopping power. In addition, the 675SR-R features a quickshifter and a reversible gearbox for track use. With an optional T-Box and the CFMOTO RIDE app, riders can benefit from GPS functionalities and OTA updates. The bike is released in Aerolite Grey, Nebula Black and Nebula White, with a futuristic LED lighting system that includes more than 100 light points.

675NK

The 675NK brings the powerful 675cc engine to CFMOTO's naked bike range. This model combines advanced technology with a sleek and modern design. Weighing 189 kg, the 675NK offers a balanced riding experience with a quickshifter and an optimised power-to-weight ratio for impressive acceleration and control.

The suspension is fully adjustable, with 41mm USD front forks and a monoshock rear suspension for an optimal balance between sportiness and comfort. Dual brake discs (300mm front, 240mm rear) with four-piston calipers provide excellent stopping power. The model features two riding modes, traction control and a dual ABS system for maximum safety. The 675NK has an advanced 5-inch TFT screen with MotoPlay projection and CFMOTO RIDE app integration, giving riders easy access to ride data and navigation. The aerodynamic design has been developed for both style and functionality, with a 15L fuel tank for excellent range and a seat height of 810mm for wide accessibility. Available in Glacier White and Tundra Grey, the 675NK comes standard with LED lighting and TPMS for tyre pressure monitoring.

125NK

125NK - En-tête - Head

With the 125NK, CFMOTO targets the entry-level class. This model combines the DNA of the NK series with a focus on maximum efficiency and riding fun. The 'Fun Machine', as it is called, has an aggressive yet sleek design and is compact and light (142 kg). The 11kW single-cylinder Euro5+ engine delivers 11Nm of torque at 8500 rpm, providing a smooth and playful driving experience.

The model features 41mm USD front forks, an adjustable monoshock and dual disc brakes (292/220mm) with ABS and traction control. LED lighting and modern styling make the 125NK a standout in its segment.

700MT

Besides the NK models, the new 700MT was also launched in Portugal. The 700MT is an adventure touring motorbike suitable for both commuting and long-distance travel. It is powered by a 693cc parallel-twin, optimised for smooth power and robust pulling power. The 19/17-inch wheel configuration ensures stability on paved and unpaved roads, while the 20L fuel tank provides considerable range.

The 700MT's ergonomics are designed for maximum comfort, with a low seat height of 800mm, wide handlebars and an adjustable windshield for optimal protection from riding wind. The model features fully adjustable 43mm upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock, providing balanced damping and customisable riding experience on different terrains.

The safety system includes switchable ABS and traction control, giving riders extra grip and stability under varying riding conditions. In addition, the 700MT features modern technology such as a TFT dashboard with smartphone connectivity, multiple riding modes and a quickshifter for smooth shifting. Various accessories are available, such as heated grips, aluminium side panniers and crash bars, to further tailor the bike to travel adventures. The bike offers excellent ergonomics with a low seat height of 800mm, adjustable windscreen and various accessories like heated grips and saddles. ABS and traction control are switchable, and the bike is equipped with fully adjustable 43mm suspension and a robust trellis frame construction for maximum stability and comfort.

800MT-X

For riders who want to go further off-road, CFMOTO introduces the 800MT-X.

Designed for rougher work, the 800MT-X offers a 60-40% offroad/onroad balancer. This model has 10Nm more torque (87Nm) than the 800MT Explore and improved balancer shaft technology for less vibration. The 48mm fully adjustable suspension, increased ground clearance (240mm) and longer suspension travel (230mm) make the 800MT-X perfect for adventure.

With 21/18-inch spoked wheels, a 22.5L tank, switchable ABS and Bosch traction control, this machine is ready for challenging terrain. The 7-inch TFT screen, quickshifter, cruise control and a steering damper provide extra control and riding pleasure.

The future begins now

After the presentations, guests had the chance to test the bikes extensively. The Algarve International Circuit and surrounding trails provided the perfect environment to push the latest CFMOTO models to their limits. The models unveiled in Portugal will soon be found in European showrooms, ready for riders looking for innovation, performance and adventure.
