CFMOTO made the mountains tremble during Red Bull Romaniacs 2025

Red Bull Romaniacs is one of the world's most prestigious, globally renowned and challenging off-road motorbike racing events, and CFMOTO participated in the 22nd edition of this annual event in Romania in 2025.

The brand competed in the Adventure Ultimate and Adventure Lite categories during the four-day ride (after the Prolog sprint in the city centre) through parts of the southern Carpathian Mountains and around the medieval city of Sibiu. The terrain offered a varied and impressive mix of trails, obstacles, rocks, water, climbs, descents and all kinds of technical challenges over stages that could cover up to 180 kilometres in a single day.

Thanks to the setting of Red Bull Romaniacs, hundreds of enthusiastic participants, thousands of fans and the new categories, 2025 was an opportune time for CFMOTO to participate, both in the battle against the clock and beyond, with branding and visual presence as the main sponsor.

The brand not only joined as lead partner, but also supported nine riders and helped another 14 who competed at CFMOTO 450MT- and 800MT-X-motorcycles. The new Adventure Rallye divisions attracted a total of 23 CFMOTO owners and riders from all over the world to Sibiu. With that, about a third of the field of participants in the Adventure Ultimate and Adventure Lite categories consisted of CFMOTO riders, during a week of warm and sunny weather conditions.

The 800MT-X is already a middleweight bike with a powerful 799cc engine of 95 hp and 87 Nm of torque, excellent electronics and riding modes that increase its versatility and reliability. Features like the large fuel tank and compact, thoughtful ergonomics make it suitable for the faster and longer trails of the Red Bull Romaniacs.

The 450MT offers agility, low weight and capabilities well suited to the terrain. Its technical specifications allow riders to rely on the durability of the engine, which accelerates smoothly through twisty sections and offers power and stability on faster stretches. Bosch ABS, KYB suspension and a strong engine emphasise its full off-road potential.

The 450MT was the star in Romania. In the hands of the experienced Daniel Fernandez, multiple national champion in Colombia in raids and offroad, both bike and rider achieved 3rd place in the Adventure Lite category. Also worth mentioning was the fifth place of Chinese rider Yang Hu Tang in the same class, and the performance of Andrea Goga, the first woman in the standings, who came eighth with her 450MT.

"Red Bull Romaniacs finished eighth in the Adventure Lite class on the CFMOTO 450MT. I'm happy! Thank you all for your support and good wishes," she wrote on Instagram after some long, hard days in which the bike helped her through the toughest terrain.

At the finish, Fernandez said, "The highest-ranked CFMOTO at Red Bull Romaniacs 2025: a bike that endured with me one of the toughest races in the world. We survived and overcame it together."

As participants from China, both Yang Hu Tang and Jian Li spoke highly of the event and shared their experiences afterwards.

Yang Hu Tang said, "It was an honour to complete the event on the CFMOTO 450MT. The bike performed excellently and I was impressed by the beautiful surroundings in Romania, the challenging terrain and the organisation of the event. I will definitely come back next year."

Jian Li, who competed in the Ultimate category, said, "The race was incredibly tough, but the experience was fantastic. I hope more Chinese riders will have the chance to participate in world-class international events like this in the future. Keep up the good work, Chinese riders."

In the Adventure Ultimate category, both 450MTs and 800MT-Xs finished high in the standings. Former motocross rider Julian Răduță took 5th place on his 450MT, while enduro and motocross veteran Adrian Răduță finished 8th with his 800MT-X. Four more CFMOTO riders finished in the top 16.

As CFMOTO took on this challenge, the true spirit of the race emerged in the way riders supported and encouraged each other. CFMOTO riders truly lived the adventure together.

CFMOTO discovered the dedication and passion for the event, the racing scene and the adventurous spirit. Participation in Red Bull Romaniacs was not only about raising brand awareness of CFMOTO's offroad products, but also about building a close relationship with the Adventure and offroad community.
