CFMOTO Benelux is further expanding its range in the adventure touring segment with the launch of the 800MT Explore ES. This new model is positioned as the most technologically advanced machine in the 800MT range, with the new electronic suspension at the heart of the riding experience.
With the 800MT Explore ES, CFMOTO is making advanced electronic suspension technology accessible to a wider audience for the first time. The new Intelligent Suspension System (ISS), developed in collaboration with KYB – a technology previously reserved for the very top end of the market – forms the core of the riding dynamics. This system continuously monitors the load, speed and road surface, and adjusts the damping in real time. This eliminates the need for manual adjustments; the motorbike proactively anticipates the road surface and maintains its chassis balance in all conditions.
The technological foundation of the Explore ES is based on the synergy between the 6-axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) and the Bosch Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC) system. Whilst the IMU acts as the sensory hub that measures the motorcycle’s position and movement in 3D space, the Bosch MSC system translates this data into active intervention. This results in cornering ABS and traction control that adapt their operation to the motorcycle’s lean angle. This integration is crucial for stability: the system not only regulates braking behaviour but also supports power delivery via drag-torque control and wheelie control, which contributes to predictable handling at higher speeds or on challenging terrain.
In addition to the electronic innovations in the chassis, the 800MT Explore ES is equipped with a comprehensive range of rider comfort features. The model comes as standard with an 8-inch MMI TFT display with smartphone connectivity, complemented by the CFMOTO Ride App for advanced insights and connectivity. An improved quickshifter for clutchless gear changes, and various heated components, including the seat and handlebars.
In addition, there is the option of the GT version, which comes with a full set of panniers as standard. The 800MT Explore ES is powered by the tried-and-tested 799cc parallel-twin engine and is available immediately in two colour options: Neptune Blue and Glacier White. As with the other models in the CFMOTO range, this machine is covered by the standard 5-year warranty.
